A seminar with the topic: Butthan Combat Sports & the Co-competition system was conducted in the Bangladesh KriraSikkhaProtisthan (BKSP), Jirani, Savar main auditorium on 6th October, Sunday.

Hours long seminar and question and answer session was conducted in presence of hundreds of BKSP students and faculty members. The session started with the speech from the Principle Lt.Col. Sahriar Kabir and followed by the mentioned seminar took place. Students of BKSP were highly inspired and were engaged intensively in the after seminar question and answer session. A demonstration was lead by Instructor Abdul Hamid (3rd degree Black Belt) at the end.

The Director General Brig. Gen Rashidul Hassan ndc,psc thanked Acharya Dr.MakYureeVajramunee for his outstanding initiative to popularize the Butthan worldwide. He specially appreciated the Butthan combat sports’ unique approach of Co-Competition system which was the main topic of the day. World record holder and internationally acclaimed Martial arts icon &Satyapon Grand Master Acharya YureeVajramunee, the Superhuman as seen on Discovery channel delivered the paper as the main speaker. Yuree is known for his inspirational ’s Vincoismphilosophy. The word Butthan is a Sanskrit word means up-liftment or defense with distinction. Butthan is a system of self-defense and personal development with South Asian heritage. Butthan is also a combat sports being practiced in different parts of the world under International Butthan Federation,USA. Butthan included as a form of combat sports by National Sports Council (NSC) ,Ministry of Youth and Sports, Bangladesh as well.
